Glass for the nosecone

Glass for the nosecone. This is 29gr/m^2 glass, cut straight, with threads running from front to back and around the fuselage. I planned to have two layers of glass and small round patch in the front. I would say that this was not a good idea. Two layers of thin glass gave me a nosecone that was barely usable - it was too thin and soft. Also, trying to get all four layers straight and down and in correct place was quite a lot of trouble. Next time I would use one layer of thicker glass. I put the glass on the nose and poured epoxy over it (I mixed 5gr for the nosecone and blotted most of it away later). Repositining the glass on the latex was not easy. It took quite some time to get all pieces arranged.
