PTFE tape |
PTFE taped that I used to wrap the nose. This is used to tighten the waterpipes. This is not the best stuff because when you remove it it will very easily separate into loose threads. Glue might also get into the threads. But is very flexible so you can wrap it really tight even if the object has strange shape. It will also stick to itself which is good. Some people have used VHS tape to wrap their tailbooms, but I'm afraid that VHS tape will not stretch very much and is not very good for this application. Thin polyethylene tape might also be good.
